Pets Memorial Tree Blessing 2007
Saltburn Animal Rescue Association have placed a Pets Memorial Tree in their Charity Shop in Guisborough.
For a Donation people can place a card of rememberance with the name of their much loved pet.

On the 13th December, 2007 the Reverend Malcolm Jackson blessed the tree, he also blessed a little blind dog named Belle which was found as a stray and is currently being looked after in a foster home. The tree and lights were donated by a SARA member in rememberance of her husband who loved animals and who sadly died last year. All the money raised will go to the upkeep and the saving of animals.

The past year has seen SARA go from strength to strength and this is due to the amount of support we receive from so many people - the media who give us so much excellent publicity, our veterinary services, the public who support our events, fosterers who give animals so much loving care and all the members who give so much of their time.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU!
The Grand Opening of the Sanctuary and Re-homing Centre on 12 September raised the magnificent sum of £9000 (Nine thousand pounds).
The number of people and pets who made the day such a success exceeded all our hopes. We are most grateful to everyone who contributed in any way to make this a most memorable day.

Other Recent Fundraising Events
A collection in Middlesbrough in December raised £917.26. Our thanks to everyone who donated.
Our thanks also to everyone who saved the wish tokens for S.A.R.A. in the Evening Gazette Wish 08. We received £488 for which we are very grateful, and this is due to the very hard work of everyone who took part.
A Coffee Morning held in the Marske Leisure Centre, raised £213. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.
The Tombola stall held in Morrison’s Redcar, raised £241. Our thanks to everyone who made this such a success.
