Saltburn Animal Rescue Association was formed in 1995 by a small group of animal lovers who
sought to help animals in need. The group formulated a constitution and has
now achieved Charitable Status.
Our aim is to help
as many animals as possible by placing them into foster homes and attending
to their veterinary care until responsible caring homes can be found.
Over the past six years we have rescued over 2000 cats and dogs including kittens
and puppies. Although we are a small organization we feel that this figure reflects
the need there is locally for more resources to help stray and unwanted pets
much less fortunate than our own family pets.
