Bonnie is a sweet-natured, affectionate British Bulldog with so much love to give. At 8 years old, she’s a true little gem – a friendly, laid-back girl who thrives on human company and adores cuddles and fusses more than anything else in the world.
She’s a social butterfly through and through! Bonnie loves people, is brilliant with dogs, and has even lived happily with six cats – she’s truly unflappable. She’s also used to being around young children and handles the bustle of family life with typical bulldog calm. On walks, she’s a dream – she walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys pottering around and soaking up the world at her own pace.
As a British Bulldog, Bonnie has many of the breed’s classic traits:
Deeply affectionate and loyal
Calm and gentle in temperament
Goofy, charming, and often comically expressive
A bit of a couch potato who thrives in relaxed environments
Famous for their wrinkly faces, snorty noises, and waddling walks!
Like all brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, Bonnie can struggle with overheating and tiring easily. She loves her walks, but shorter strolls suit her best. Her breathing may sound noisy, but she manages well – especially when kept cool and allowed to rest when she needs to.
Bonnie is also a small girl for her breed, making her extra cuddly and compact – perfect for snuggling on the sofa!
To keep Bonnie healthy and comfortable, she needs daily eye drops throughout the day. Her eyesight is deteriorating, but the drops help slow this down and keep her eyes moist and comfortable. She’s wonderfully patient with her care routine and seems to understand it's all part of the love and attention she enjoys.
Bonnie is looking for a family who will embrace her loving nature and support her health needs with kindness and care. In return, she’ll give you all the love, loyalty, and snuggles you could ever ask for.
