Bruce is a 1-year-old Malinois cross looking for his forever home. He’s an incredibly friendly boy who loves everyone he meets and has been getting on really well with the other dogs at the centre—especially his friend Red, as he’s always keen to initiate play!

Sooty is a 3-year-old male cat who came into our care after his owner sadly passed away. He has spent his whole life in a calm, peaceful home as an indoor cat, so he will be looking for a similar quiet environment to help him feel safe and secure.
Although Sooty can be a little shy at first, he does have a playful side—he is still a young boy after all! He enjoys chasing a ball and loves interactive toys, especially a fishing rod toy with feathers attached, which really brings out his fun personality.
Moving into the cattery was quite stressful for Sooty, but he is slowly starting to settle in. He’s beginning to come out for a little nosey and enjoys gentle attention and affection once he feels comfortable.
Sooty is a large cat in build and currently a little on the chunky side, so his new owner will need to be mindful of his diet and help him maintain a healthy weight.
He would make a wonderful companion for a retired person or couple looking for a calm, loving presence in their home. With patience, understanding, and a peaceful environment, Sooty will truly thrive and become a devoted companion.
