Simba arrived at the centre with Pickle, and although they were originally housed together, it quickly became clear that they weren’t comfortable sharing the same space. Once separated into individual pens, Simba relaxed and really came into his own, showing us just what a wonderful character he is.

Despite his age, Simba is in good health and still very much an active, engaged boy. One of his most charming traits is how chatty he is—he loves to meow for attention and will happily hold a conversation with you if it means getting a few fusses. He thrives on human interaction and enjoys being around people who appreciate his talkative, affectionate nature.

Simba will need to be the only pet in the home, and he is best suited as an indoor-only cat, where he can stay safe and comfortable as he enjoys his golden years.

Being a domestic longhair, Simba will benefit from regular grooming. Longer coats can develop knots or mats if not brushed frequently, so his new family should be prepared to spend some time each week keeping his fur tidy and comfortable.

If you’re looking for a friendly, vocal companion who still has plenty of life and love to give, Simba could be the perfect addition to your home.
