Ted is an adorable 8-month-old Jack Russell x Dachshund with a big personality packed into a little body! This cheeky chappie is full of life and love, and he’s on the lookout for an active and understanding forever home where he can continue to grow into the confident companion he’s meant to be.

A Bit About Ted:
Ted loves his walks and is always up for an adventure. He’s playful, affectionate, and truly a lovely boy who brightens every room he enters. As a young pup, he’s still learning the ropes of the big wide world, especially when it comes to socialising with other dogs. But he’s making great progress at the centre and is walking nicely alongside other small breeds.

Ted’s Perfect Match:

  • Children aged 12 and over (due to his lively nature and ongoing training needs)

  • Active adopters who can provide him with daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation

  • A home ready to continue his socialisation and basic training with patience and positivity

  • Ideally a household with no larger or overly dominant dogs (though future friendships with the right match could be possible)

About the Breed – Jack Russell x Dachshund (Doxie Russell):
This mix brings together two bold and intelligent breeds. Jack Russells are known for their energy, bravery, and keen intelligence, while Dachshunds bring a mix of loyalty, curiosity, and just a little bit of mischief. The combination often results in a spirited, affectionate dog who thrives with active families and firm but kind guidance. Expect a clever, comical little companion who keeps you on your toes.

Ted is still learning, but with the right support, he’ll grow into an incredible best friend. He’s ready to explore the world with someone who’ll give him love, structure, and plenty of belly rubs.
