Meet Artemis, our 8-month-old handsome kitten looking for his forever home.
Artemis is super-friendly, affectionate and full of mischief! He absolutely loves people and has a wonderfully playful personality. Being a young lad, he has plenty of energy to burn and would love a home where he can play, explore and keep his new family entertained with his cheeky antics.
During his time here at S.A.R.A, Artemis has made friends with several of our kitten litters. Most recently, he has teamed up with Kane and Dixie for playtime, and the three of them have had a brilliant time together! We have occasionally introduced them to the catio as a group, and they have all thoroughly enjoyed playing and exploring together.
Because of his sociable nature, we feel Artemis could happily live with another well-socialised cat who would enjoy having a lively young playmate. He could potentially live with a dog, too, provided the dog is accustomed to living with cats and introductions are carried out carefully.
Artemis could live with children aged 6 years and over, provided they understand how to handle cats gently and respect when he needs some quiet time.
🏡 What Artemis needs in his forever home:
Outdoor access: Artemis must have access to the outdoors once he has settled into his new home. This must be a safe area, well away from busy roads and heavy traffic.
Time to settle: He will need to remain indoors for around 6–9 weeks after adoption, depending on how well he settles, before being gradually introduced to the outdoors.
Plenty of play and enrichment: Interactive toys, tunnels, scratching posts, climbing trees and puzzle feeders will help keep his clever little mind occupied and his busy paws entertained.
Feline companionship: A friendly, well-socialised cat who enjoys playing would be a lovely match for Artemis, although any introductions should be done gradually.
Potential canine companionship: He may be able to live with a cat-friendly dog who is calm and respectful around him.
A loving family: Artemis adores people and would thrive with a family who can give him plenty of attention, affection and playtime.
Good ongoing care: Fresh water, quality food, cosy resting places, routine veterinary care and lots of love are all essential.
The best news is that Artemis is already neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped, so he is all ready to head off to his forever home!
If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate young cat who will bring plenty of personality and entertainment into your life, Artemis could be just the boy for you. ❤️
