Smokey is a beautiful senior cat looking for a quiet long-term foster home where he can spend the rest of his life in peace, surrounded by love—and with a cosy lap to snuggle up on. He has a gentle, affectionate nature and will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm and loving feline friend.

As a senior cat, Smokey would benefit from a relaxed home environment where he can enjoy a steady routine. Older cats often appreciate extra comfort, such as soft bedding, easy access to their favourite resting spots, and a home where things aren’t too busy or overwhelming. Regular vet check-ups and a little extra TLC will help keep him feeling his best, but he is still mobile and gets around very well.

Smokey is an indoor cat and will need a home where he can safely stay inside. Indoor cats rely on their environment for stimulation, so access to cosy resting places, scratching posts, toys, and window views can help keep them happy and enriched. A calm, secure space is especially important for Smokey.

He is currently on a prescription diet due to urinary issues. Smokey has experienced UTIs in the past, usually linked to stress, but in a stable home environment this is typically well managed, and he leads a normal, comfortable life. Maintaining his diet and keeping stress levels low will be key to his ongoing health.

Smokey is looking for a loving long-term foster home, and S.A.R.A will cover any veterinary costs throughout his foster placement, allowing his new family to focus on giving him the comfort, care, and affection he deserves in his golden years.
