Vinny is a gorgeous 7-month-old Vizsla cross Labrador with the most loving and gentle nature. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to be around people—he truly thrives on companionship and will make a wonderful, loyal best friend.

He is well socialised with both people and other dogs, and approaches life with a friendly, happy attitude. Because of this, he could happily live with other well-socialised dogs. Vinny is currently finding kennel life a little sad, and we would love to see him settled into a home of his own as soon as possible where he can really flourish.

Being a cross between a Vizsla and a Labrador, Vinny has a lovely mix of traits from both breeds. Vizslas are known for their affectionate, people-oriented nature and high energy levels, while Labradors are famously friendly, intelligent, and eager to please. This means Vinny is not only incredibly loving, but also an active, clever young dog who will enjoy both exercise and learning.

He will need continued training in areas such as lead walking, basic obedience, and ongoing socialisation as he grows. He’s at a great age to learn and will benefit hugely from consistent, positive guidance.

Vinny has a good level of energy typical of his breed mix, so he will need an active home that can provide daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep him happy and balanced.

What Vinny Needs:

  • A loving, committed home

  • Plenty of companionship – he doesn’t enjoy being alone for long periods

  • An active lifestyle with daily walks and playtime

  • Ongoing training (lead walking, basic commands, social skills)

  • Mental stimulation (toys, games, enrichment)

  • A secure space to relax and feel safe

  • Good-quality food and fresh water

  • Routine vet care (vaccinations, flea/worming, neutering when appropriate)

Vinny is an incredibly sweet-natured, affectionate young dog who just wants to love and be loved. With the right home, he will grow into a wonderful companion and a devoted member of the family.
