Romeo is an 11-month-old rabbit who came into our care after being rescued by a kind member of the public from a truly distressing situation. Thanks to her quick actions, Romeo was brought to safety and given a second chance at life.
Due to the trauma he experienced, Romeo can be a little skittish when first touched, but with patient, gentle handling and reassuring strokes, he is making lovely progress and growing in confidence every day. Despite everything he’s been through, Romeo is a fun-loving, lively boy who has truly blossomed in our care.
He is full of curiosity and energy, and is always eager to see the other rabbits here – although the feeling isn’t quite mutual just yet! Romeo would dearly love to find a home with a female rabbit companion to bond with, as we feel he would thrive with bunny company.
Romeo is a resilient little soul with so much love to give. With time, patience, and a gentle home, he will make a wonderful companion and reward his adopter with his playful charm and growing trust.
Romeo has been neutered, microchipped, health checked and vaccinated.
We are looking for a home that can provide plenty of mental stimulation and suitable accommodation that allows him to express natural behaviours. Rabbits need plenty of space to hop, run, and explore, as well as a safe and secure shelter. A spacious enclosure with plenty of enrichment, tunnels, hideaways, and room to stretch their legs is essential for their well-being. Outdoor access, like a secure run or rabbit proofed garden, will also give them the chance to graze and enjoy fresh air while being safely contained.
