Ruby is a small, affectionate British Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At 7 years old, she’s still full of life, and her loving, gentle nature shines through in everything she does. She’s wonderful with people of all ages and gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats – a true social butterfly!

As a British Bulldog, Ruby has many of the classic breed traits: she’s loyal, laid-back, affectionate, and a bit of a clown at times. Bulldogs are known for their calm demeanors, loving companionship, and of course, their signature snorts and wrinkles – all of which Ruby embodies perfectly. She’s also a bit smaller than your typical bulldog, which only adds to her cuteness!

Like many short-nosed (brachycephalic) breeds, Ruby can be prone to breathing difficulties, especially in hot weather or with too much exertion. However, she seems to cope very well, and while long walks can be a bit much, she absolutely loves her outings and handles them with enthusiasm. She walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys every moment of exploring her surroundings.

To keep Ruby clean, healthy, and comfortable, her facial folds need a little extra TLC. She requires regular use of medicated wipes and cream to keep these areas clean and free from irritation. She’s very cooperative with her skincare routine and clearly feels better for it!

Ruby is looking for a forever home that understands the needs of her breed and is ready to embrace all her lovable quirks — from her affectionate cuddles to her snuffly noises and wiggly bottom.
