Texas and Maple are an adorable young bonded pair who were brought together here at the centre — and they’ve been inseparable ever since! These two are truly thick as thieves, spending their days exploring, playing, and snuggling up together.

Texas started out as a very nervous bunny — when he first arrived, he was so frightened that he would literally jump the height of his pen to get away from us! With time, patience, and the calming influence of his confident friend Maple, he’s made incredible progress. He now shows curiosity and trust, but will still need gentle, patient socialisation in his new home to continue building his confidence.

Being young bunnies, Texas and Maple are very active and inquisitive, so they’ll need plenty of space to hop, stretch, and explore. They would love a large, secure setup — ideally a shed and run or a spacious indoor area — where they can enjoy their zoomies and binkies safely.

Like all rabbits, they’ll require:

  • Daily access to fresh hay (the most important part of their diet)

  • Fresh greens and pellets in moderation

  • Regular grooming, especially during moulting seasons, to keep their coats in good condition

  • Safe enrichment and toys to keep their bright minds busy

  • Routine vet care, including vaccinations and regular flea and worm treatment

Texas and Maple are looking for a loving home together where they’ll have the space, care, and patience to truly thrive. With a calm and consistent routine, they’ll bring lots of joy!

We are looking for a home that can provide plenty of mental stimulation and a suitable hutch with an appropriately sized run.
