Yoda is a gorgeous 2-year-old Labrador cross Staffie with a huge heart and a love for life! This handsome boy absolutely adores people and is happiest when he’s out and about — walking, running, or playing. He’s full of beans and would love an active home where he can join in on all the fun and adventures.

Despite his cheerful personality, Yoda has clearly had a rough start in life. We rescued him from a centre in Wakefieldthat was sadly closing down, and he’s now ready for his new chapter with a family who’ll give him the love and security he deserves.

Yoda would thrive best as the only pet in the home. He isn’t good with cats or other dogs at the moment and can be reactive when he sees them, so he’ll need patient, understanding owners who can continue his training and help him build confidence.

He’s still young, eager to please, and has so much potential — with time, consistency, and love, Yoda will make the most loyal and affectionate companion. 💛

The Perfect Fit: Home & Daily Routine

Yoda is happiest in a home where he isn't left alone for long. Staffie mixes thrive on human companionship and often suffer from separation anxiety if left solo too frequently; they naturally prefer being with their family. As a medium-sized, muscular dog, he’s playful and energetic—daily exercise of around 60 minutes, combining brisk walks and interactive games, will keep him content, both physically and mentally.

Grooming & Basic Care

Yoda sports a short, smooth coat that requires minimal grooming—just a weekly brush to manage shedding and keep his coat healthy. Bathing is occasional unless he’s rolled in something unpleasant.

Health & Nutrition

Feed Yoda a high-quality, balanced diet—typically two meals per day—with portion sizes based on his weight and activity. He is a little piggy and not fussy at all!

Like all Staffie mixes, he should have regular vet check-ups to monitor for hereditary issues such as hip dysplasia, cataracts, skin conditions, or allergies—many of which are manageable with prompt care . Having pet insurance or a savings buffer is recommended
